This policy explains how Atlas Learn (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit atlaslearn.io, sign up for a resource or our newsletter, register for a workshop, buy a team training, or get in touch. We are the “data controller” for that data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
1. Who we are
Atlas Learn is a trading name of Atlas Learn Group Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17345986), with its registered office at 124 City Road, London EC1V 2NX.

2. The data we collect
Information you give us
- Name and email address: when you download a free resource or subscribe to our newsletter.
- Company name: optionally, when you download a resource.
- Enquiry details: your name, email, company and message when you submit a partner or contact enquiry.
- Event details: the information you provide when you register for a workshop or event.
- Purchase and billing details: when you buy a team training, your payment and billing information is collected and processed by Stripe, our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details; we receive confirmation of payment and the order details you provide at checkout (such as your team's function, size and preferred format).
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes limited technical data (such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request) in server logs, to serve the site securely and reliably.
We may also use analytics and advertising measurement tools (Google Analytics, the Meta pixel and Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the site is used, how far people watch our videos, and which adverts bring visitors here. These are only loaded if you accept them when asked — see Cookies below. If you decline, or before you answer, none of these tools is downloaded and none of them sets a cookie or records anything about your visit.
3. How and why we use your data
We only use your personal data where the law allows us to. The table below sets out each purpose and the lawful basis under Article 6 of the UK GDPR that we rely on.
- Delivering a resource you requested: to send you the guide, video or file you asked for. Lawful basis: performance of a contract / our legitimate interests in fulfilling your request.
- Sending our newsletter and marketing emails: to share workshops, resources and updates. Lawful basis: your consent, which you give when you sign up and can withdraw at any time.
- Responding to enquiries: to reply to partner or contact messages. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in responding to you and running our business.
- Processing payments and delivering purchases: to take payment for a team training and deliver what you bought. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- Running and securing the site: to keep the site available, performant and protected against abuse. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests.
- Meeting legal obligations: where we must keep or disclose data to comply with the law. Lawful basis: legal obligation.
4. Marketing and your choices
We send marketing emails only where you have opted in. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time, either through that link or by emailing hello@atlaslearn.io. Withdrawing consent does not affect emails we send to deliver a resource you specifically requested, or to reply to an enquiry.
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the service providers (“processors”) that help us operate, and only as needed for the purposes above. They act on our instructions and are bound to protect your data. These include:
- Kit (kit.com): email marketing and newsletter management.
- Resend (resend.com): sending transactional and enquiry emails.
- Stripe (stripe.com): payment processing for team training purchases.
- Luma (lu.ma): workshop and event registration.
- Cloudflare: website hosting, delivery and security, including Turnstile, which checks that the forms on this site are submitted by a person rather than a bot. It runs only on our forms and sets no advertising cookie.
- YouTube (Google): embedded videos, served in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
- Google Analytics (Google), Meta (facebook.com) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft): measurement and advertising analytics. These receive data only if you accept cookies — see Cookies below.
6. International transfers
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where your data is transferred abroad, we rely on an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK “adequacy” regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) / Standard Contractual Clauses, so that your data receives an equivalent level of protection.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it. Newsletter subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Enquiry correspondence is kept for 24 months after our last contact, unless we need it longer to meet a legal or contractual obligation. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.
8. Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies and similar storage are used to run the site, and need no consent. Everything else does, and we ask for it before anything loads.
Analytics and advertising. If you accept, we load Google Analytics (how the site is used), the Meta pixel (which of our adverts brought you here, and how much of a video you watched) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised session replay, to see where pages confuse people). Until you accept, none of these scripts is downloaded at all — so declining is not a setting we honour after the fact, it is code that never runs. We record your answer in your browser's local storage so you are only asked once; clearing your browser data will bring the banner back.
Embedded video. Videos hosted by us are served from our own storage and set nothing. Embedded YouTube videos are served in privacy-enhanced mode, which avoids setting tracking cookies unless you play a video.
To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and choose again when the banner reappears, or email us at hello@atlaslearn.io and we will confirm what we hold.
9. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data (the “right to erasure”);
- restrict or object to how we use your data;
- request a copy of your data in a portable format (data portability); and
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these, email hello@atlaslearn.io. We will respond within one month. Exercising your rights is free, and you will not be treated any differently for doing so.
10. How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your data secure, and we work only with reputable providers who do the same. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
11. Children
Our services are intended for professionals and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has given us their data, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated where appropriate.
